You are invited to hear one of America's premiere experts on the future of transportation address a broad range of public policy questions that confront the Kansas City region as automated vehicles become reality.

Robert Puentes, president and CEO of the Eno Center for Transportation, will delve into ways to ensure the creation of policy and regulations at a pace that allows technology to mature without presenting undue legal hurdles. This conversation has implications across a wide scope of civic and business interests, so we hope you will join us.

Prior to joining Eno, Puentes was a senior fellow at the Brookings Institution’s Metropolitan Policy Program where he directed the program’s Metropolitan Infrastructure Initiative. He is currently a non-resident senior fellow with Brookings. Before Brookings, Robert was the director of infrastructure programs at the Intelligent Transportation Society of America. He has worked extensively on a variety of transportation issues, including infrastructure funding and finance, and city and urban planning.
